I design in NX and CATIA, run flow simulations in Ansys Fluent, and write the calculations no GUI will do for me in Python. Aerodynamics and rocket propulsion are what pull me in most.

Selected work

01
Metal wing structure
A team project: a semi-monocoque metal wing with a torsion box in the nose. I was responsible for the assembly model in Siemens NX and for how it would be made. I designed the sheet parts as bent parts in the Sheet Metal module, and chose the rest so it could be bought from a supplier.

02
Propeller Aerodynamic Analysis — BEMT + CFD
Aerodynamic analysis of a two-blade propeller. I computed its performance with blade element momentum theory (BEMT) in my own Python script and checked it against CFD simulations in Ansys Fluent (MRF, k-ω SST).

03
Fan drive transmission system
Course project for Machine Design Fundamentals at Warsaw University of Technology. A belt-driven fan drive: motor and V-belt selection, shaft strength calculations, bearing selection and frame analysis, plus a full set of manufacturing drawings and a 3D assembly model.
